El Puente - Smallholders honey lot 🇨🇴
In Palestina, Huila a collective of 240 farms has come together to make this project possible. Through community leaders like Felix Samboni, and daily operation managers Ayda Samboni and Yarley Calderon, bridges the gap from farmers to quality interested buyers. El Puente meaning ‘the bridge’ succeeds in giving the farmers access to this market, but is also refers a nearby footbridge that gives the farmers access to post harvest processing facilities.
The outcome of their honey processed lot is an incredible floral coffee with notes of jasmin and mandarin orange.
